Our Philosophy

As soon as you arrive at Usva, you feel things differently. Get back to the basics by immersing all your senses in this experience and learn to let yourself go at a gradual pace. Our philosophy’s basis is founded on a code of conduct that creates a unique atmosphere that in turn provides an unforgettable experience.

Phone-free environment

Completely disconnect to better connect with oneself (all cellphones must remain in the locker room).

Silence and whispering

Keeping a respectful silence in certain zones will ensure the unique relaxation atmosphere we aim to offer here at Usva. Close your eyes and savor this wonderful opportunity.

Water, a source of life

Proper hydration is important during the thermal cycle. For this reason, we only allow water bottles (no glass containers) to be brought into our spa’s facilities. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available in our Espace Lounge.

Reservations required

Reservations are required to access our facilities and must be done online through our website.

The credit card provided at the time of your booking will not be charged unless Usva Spa Nordik is obligated to apply its cancellation policy. You should therefore plan to bring your own payment method on the day of your visit to cover incurred costs.

Medical recommendations

The thermal experience is not recommended during pregnancy.

You are strongly advised to consult with your healthcare professional before booking any of our services if you suffer from specific health conditions such as heart/circulation problems, hypertension/hypotension, cancer, diabetes or respiratory problems.

If you suffer from a contagious disease or have an active skin disease, we ask that you do not visit our facilities.


Due to the topography of the land, we had to build stairs leading to the spa facilities. If you have reduced mobility and still wish to take advantage of our facilities, we invite you to contact us in advance (506-855-8782) as each situation is unique, and we will be happy to take measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for you.

Disclaimer of liability

As the weather conditions are beyond our control, no financial compensation will be offered if we must temporarily close pools, saunas or other facilities. Note that these decisions are made for your own safety.

When entering one of our saunas, please stay away from heat sources (rocks, sauna heaters and steam outlets) to avoid burns. In addition, water vapor in the steam sauna settles on the floor and on the benches, so it is important to move carefully to avoid slipping and falling.

Usva Spa Nordik is not responsible for any lost, forgotten, damaged, or stolen personal items on our site (including the parking lot).

Usva Spa Nordik is not responsible for lost gift cards. If you have a gift card, please present it when you check in at our reception desk.

Cancellation policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the schedule that could have been filled by another guest. This is why we ask for 24 hours notice for any cancellation or modification of your appointment. Guests who notify less than 24 hours in advance, or who miss their appointment, will be charged a fee equivalent to the total amount of the service booked and/or 50% of the price of the thermal experience. Everything will be charged to the credit card used when making the reservation.

Guests who have booked a treatment (massage, facial, pressotherapy, etc.) and who arrive late will only be seen for the remainder of the duration of their appointment and will be charged the full amount of their treatment.

***In the event of non-compliance with our code of conduct, Usva Spa Nordik reserves the right to ask guests to leave the premises, without compensation. This may lead, in some cases, to a ban on future access to the site.***
